Adam B. Struck, Managing Partner
Adam is the Founder and Managing Partner at Struck Capital. Prior to Struck Capital, Adam was a Co-Founder of Long Island Brand Beverages, a CPG Company that was acquired by Cullen Investments and then taken public on the NASDAQ. Previously, he was an M&A / PE attorney at Kirkland & Ellis, one of the largest law firms in the world. Adam graduated from Northwestern University where he completed the Kellogg School of Management Certificate Program. He also graduated from Georgetown Law where he received his Juris Doctorate. Adam is a member of the NY Bar Association and has also been recognized by Forbes, making the coveted 30 Under 30 List for Venture Capital.
Michael Buckwald, Partner | Operations
Michael is a Partner at Struck Capital. Prior to Struck Capital, Michael was CEO and Co-Founder of Leap Motion - the world’s pre-eminent human computer interface Company backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund and JP Morgan. Prior to Leap Motion, Michael was the CEO of Zazuba.com, a venture backed business appointment service later acquired by a major national yellow pages company. Additionally, he ran the first deployment of computers to Madagascar with the One Laptop per Child program. Michael has spoken at hundreds of conferences worldwide including dozens of keynote speeches at events such as SXSW. Michael has won coveted awards including Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business and has also been recognized by Forbes, making the 30 Under 30 List for Technology.
Yida Gao, Partner | Investing
Yida is a Partner at Struck Capital. Prior to Struck Capital, Yida was a technology investor at NEA, one of the world's largest VC funds with $20Bn+ AUM. Previously, he was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group based in NYC where he helped execute over $15Bn in aggregate deal volume. Yida graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science and was a varsity pole vaulter. He attended Stanford GSB briefly before dropping out to join Struck Capital.
